Pros
Some of the best people I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Inspirational language used early on in process. Many people dedicated to quality and forward thinking K-12 design. Easy (for some) to get hands on experience with every aspect of the project.
Cons
Woeful mismanagement from the top. Some attempts to promote from within have set some toxic people in positions of power. Everyone is encouraged to be a Designer but rarely listened to; everything must go through the one design principal. unnecessarily long hours due to lack of communication from client to team through PIC. All of the previous grievances have led to possibly the highest turn-over rate for a firm this size in the Seattle area and still the management has done little to nothing to change.
