Pros

Working at Instaclick was great. I worked there for almost three years and I learned quite a lot. The company was going through a complete overhaul and I got to work on several projects simultaneously. You know how they say that new people are never allowed to work independently. That didn’t happen at Instaclick. Of course, I had to attend orientation and training but that was a breeze. Soon after training, I was assigned three projects to work on and under the supervision of Adi. The best part that he was a hands-off kind of manager. He just let me do my thing and I was able to be creative and imaginative. He did help me when I got stuck but my hard work paid off and I managed to snag a good permanent job at the company due to this independence. Unlike other companies I had worked at Instaclick always had a lot of work. In fact, I usually had to come in extra to complete my work but the HR and Logistics staff member Jessica was super helpful. She made sure I was never hungry or alone and I really had a great time. I never had a free minute at the company but it was a total blast and well worth the experience. I was working so much that I decided to go in and ask for a pay hike and they were happy to do it. Where else can you do this? I had a great time at the company but after three years, I moved on due to personal reasons. Nonetheless, if you are planning to join Instaclick, do it right now. It’s does not matter if you are a newbie or an experienced professional. The company pays well, has a great work ethic, and it is super professional with staff. What more could you ask for?

Cons

The company offers a great morning breakfast buffet but maybe they could include a few healthy options like low-fat milk and muesli.

Pros

I always do a little research for applying for a new job and though Instaclick got a few bad raps by ex-employers, I still gave the company a shot, as I'm a little optimistic; plus I also need the extra money. Unlike other jobs in the past, I never felt any kind of stress while working here, but I worked there for just over two years and never once did I felt any stress. Typically when I started other jobs, I would have a supervisor or two breathing down my neck every five minutes, but Instaclick gave me some independence. Once the basic training was finished everything was smooth sailing. The workload never felt demanding, as the most projects I was assigned was three to four. My reasons for taking the job was mostly just to get a paycheck and a new entry in my job resume, but I wasn't expecting to leave the company making a few new friends with the the employees and even a few supervisors. I also learned many new skills while working there. The supervisors were very understanding and helped me when I either had a question or a problem about whatever projects I was working on that day. I never once felt under-appreciated and I always felt like part of the team.

Cons

I wish there were slightly longer lunch breaks. Sure there was plenty of time to eat my lunch, but sometimes I was still hunger and didn't have enough time to eat dessert. There needs to be more water cooler and coffee machine breaks, as I loved talking with my co-workers and listening to what projects they were working on. The office chairs aren't the best; they're just your typical office chairs, but I need something with a little bit more back support.

Pros

I will admit, I was totally nervous when I first started working for Instaclick. I was fresh out of college and while I had done a few freelance things for friends and family, I was pretty much new to the world of web design. To be honest, I thought Instaclick was going to be one of those places where I just ended up running errands for a bunch of people and maybe doing a couple of web layouts here and there, but I couldn't have been more wrong. I learned so much on my first day and that learning never stopped. A lot of people tend to roll their eyes when you tell them that your coworkers feel like your extended family, but that’s exactly how I felt about the team I was on. I wasn't perfect just starting out and I made mistakes, but no one ever treated me like I was a failure. When I needed help, everyone was there for me, offering me tips and tricks that I probably wouldn't have considered on my own. I will never forget when I was handed my very first project to handle on my own. Everyone encouraged me to do my best. They had faith in me and it definitely gave me the confidence I needed. While I will miss working for Instaclick, I am still happy that I got the chance to work there. It is because of what learned there, and the people who taught me, that I was hired for another position in Baltimore that I’m extremely excited for. It was hard to make the decision to leave Instaclick. In fact, the only reason that I decided to take the other job is because my wife is pregnant with twins and I couldn't say no to the pay! I still have everyone’s contact information, and I hope I can keep in contact with everyone even from so far away.

Cons

It’s hard to complain about such a great place like Instaclick. I think the only problem I had was that the snack selections in the vending machine were less than desirable, especially if you have a peanut allergy.
