Pros
Instabase hire excellent people. The level of talent is incomparable to previous companies I have worked with. Everyone expects excellence in each other, adopts a growth mindset, and supports each others development. Ego is also left at the door. People are here to work hard, and do their best - and they expect everyone to do the same. The work ethic is a fundamental part of Instabase culture, but so is inclusivity, authenticity, innovation & teamwork. These are not just used as recruitment buzzwords here either, they are put into practice by every employee, starting strongly from the leadership team. Not only do I feel comfortable being myself at work, I feel encouraged to do so. This has allowed me to freely grow and develop as a professional in a safe space. In my 2 years here, I have learnt more than the rest of my career combined, grown in directions and pushed past boundaries I hadn't once thought I'd achieve or ever explore. The leadership team are not only supportive, I also trust them to make the right decisions for the company, and know that my voice will be heard as part of that decision making. Startups flex and change almost over night, but every pivot I have experienced has been a positive one, responding to changing needs form the market and the people. Also everyone is just.... lovely. And that's just the people - the product is just as mind blowing. It is the reason why so many GTM folks, up and left their previous companies and stability, to back our inspirational CEO and the talented engineering team. You only have to spend 30 mins with a demo from Anant to know, Instabase is something special, something revolutionary, and it continues to attract the best people from Technology.
Cons
Not every day is rosy and the hours can be long. You have to be resilient, you have to be strong willed and you have to be willing to get stuck in and move out of your comfort zone. That might not be a con, but it might also not be what everyone wants.
