Pros
I was very lucky during my time there. I had a great team that worked very well and bonded together. Other than that, there's not much going for them. The snacks were good for all food allergies.
Cons
They call themselves a start-up but they have been long past that stage, due to the high turnover, there's many newbies that are extremely underpaid just trying to learn the trade of the business and make it out here in the adult world after college. Because of that, they tend to make many small mistakes that are equivalent to a start up company. Furthermore, you are expected to work at all hours of the day and night, whenever your manager requests it, which translate to overtime with none of the benefits, just as that's the norm of the overall culture of the company. It is known that you will only grow within the company if you are available at all times to the CEO demands and impulsive due dates, and there are favorites. Management also tends to keep company plans secret unless something slips out or they do not have any alternative choice. Even then, they only inform those affected and that's when the whisper and gossiping seeps through. While I was there, there were many employees laid off, simply due to disagreements with the marketing ideas. Afterwards, most team keep their head down and continue working due to the heavier work load. Lastly, the CEO expects everything to be done within a few hours or days compared to the necessary weeks or month it takes to have everything prepared. This causes lots of stress within the team.
