Pros

You will learn a lot about the corporate environment; even if its not through Insight Global directly. You will learn by going on client meetings, etc. The pay can be very very good if you're smart with how it is that you do your job. You do have the ability to get promoted as soon as you'd like; you just have to let leadership know that you would like to be fast tracked and proceed to work hard. (I know people that have done it in 5 months of being there - took me 8 months) The job is what you put into it - just like any other job.

Cons

There are quite a few, so I will keep them at bullet points as to keep it short. - Executives do not care about you. You are another number to them. (Leadership: sales managers and lead recruiters are here and there) - The metrics are grueling and the hours you will have to work in order to be successful will most definitely be more than 40. - It is a sales culture - so there is plenty of happy hours. With that said, it is a frat/sorority culture. (Never really cared/minded) - HR does not exist. I have seen/heard so many inappropriate HR violations. - Benefits are a joke.

Pros

The individual contributors and the endless amounts of budget for campaigns tools and resources. A great place for marketing creatives looking to do just that, create.

Cons

Leadership served themselves, not their team. There's 0 structure with no marketing KPI measurement or revenue attribution to show the ROI. Everyone always seemed so busy but nothing was getting done to show the impact marketing had on the businesses bottom line. Not many wanted to do the work to build the department to any potential, half of marketing doesn't even work under marketing which promotes vast misalignment. Just resources begging to be used and a bleeding advertising budget. It has a ton of potential, but I watched the few who could have changed it all leave over the frustrations of leaders only concerned with their own self preservation.
