Pros

I've met good friends there, still friends with them now and I feel bad that some are still employees there.

Cons

Working at Insight is like repeating the 9th grade. I couldn't put it in better terms. You're answering to people who've never worked in a real corporate environment with mature superiors; everyone, including the "regional manager" is is under the age of 35, which seems great at first but have you ever been scolded by your "boss" who is younger than you? Facts about the role that they don't tell you in your interview: - You HAVE to be at the office before 7:30am and if you aren't, you'll get pulled into the back by your "boss" and scolded/belittled - If you don't stay past 5:30pm every single day you'll be told you're not working hard enough (that's a 10+ hour work day M-F) - On top of your 50+ hour work week there's also "forced fun" involved. Almost every other week they have a happy hour that you are forced to go to, either after work on a weekday or on a Saturday. Yes they make you go to these - The starting pay is 31k, they tell you that you get a 10k bump after 6 months. The 10k raise is actually after 7 and a half months. After the $500 a month taken out for benefits (horrible benefits) your weekly check is about $430-$450 a week for 7 1/2 months, barely enough to live on - There are two ways that you can go for a promotion, professional recruiter or account management, they ONLY hire for sales. The day you decide that sales isn't for you, they either disregard you (don't do anything to advance your recruiting skills) or put you on an improvement plan which just means you'll be let go in a month - There's scheduled lunch, you can pick either 1st or 2nd lunch (yes back to high school) and if you are out of the office at all during the day they look down on you if you take a lunch - It's a title-driven environment. It doesn't matter how good you are at your job, if you have a "lower" job title you are treated worse
