Pros
Great PTO and Sick leave Remote work Decent insurance
Cons
Salary is WAY below industry standard Micromanaging is CONSTANT Constantly asked to have more responsibilities than the job advertised with no pay increases Employees can be downright condescending and rude and management does nothing about it False promises made during my interview regarding schedule and responsibilities (they changed my schedule entirely and told me originally 8 hours a day 5 days a week then pulled the rug out and said 10 hours a day 4 days a week after hiring me) Will not respect home life balance Can change your schedule at the drop of a hat (like 8+ hour difference in shift times than what you tell them you can do) Career growth is nonexistent in my department Near impossible expectations from management who seem to have forgotten what it's like to actually do the work not just manage the people who do it Constantly reorganizing and changing how they do things to the point that there's no real security in any aspect of the job False promises regarding career paths
