Pros
Inova still has a great reputation in the DMV area for care received, and having them on a resume is a positive thing. There is almost always an opportunity for overtime due to the constant need to fill staffing grids.
Cons
Inova pays on the low side of the average for the DMV area, and the staffing on almost every unit is always in dire straits due to a high turnover rate and poor management of staffing levels. They can't keep management in place long enough to effect change due to the combination of their unrealistic expectations and low compensation. The executive end of the company is more concerned with acquiring holdings rather than retaining and rewarding employees for their hard work and loyalty to the patients and the company.
