Pros
The environment is so welcoming and all the other workers are so nice! Everyone makes an effort to make you feel like you belong. Excellent service is provided to all members and they are all appreciated and loved.
Cons
Their training does not prepare you for emergency situations or for dealing with difficult members. There is minimal guidance and instructions are usually "oh, it depends" which is NOT helpful at all. During emergency situations, it was as if employees were punished for their response as opposed to trying to understand what could be improved. There are discussions after about what can be improved, but there is a lack of attention based on prevention rather than reacting to a situation after it has happened, which does very little. The blame is shifted to the employee instead of what the company did wrong or could have done to better handle the situation. In terms of responsibility, you learn something once and you're expected to get it, or ask questions regardless if you get real training. Although, a lot is learned as you go, they do not fully prepare you for what you will encounter or even bother being completely honest about what you could do. If the employee is shadowing someone, they should let the person know what they should look for rather than simply having someone follow them around.
