It was good before CD&R came in -- it's all about the money now, and how much they get to keep. Now they are holding pay and reducing investment while demanding their people pull in more revenue.
Cons
After a year where your team works extremely hard and is more successful than ever, they will dock your bonus and increase so that they can make their books look better for a lucrative exit. You will do your part, they will FAIL to do theirs, yet preach how "we're all about our people".
