My fellow cashiers and service clerks were very friendly and I made some close connections with them.
Cons
I worked at the Merrimon Ave. Ingles for almost 3 years and the management is horrible and EXTREMELY unprofessional. Ingles managers care way more about the value of a dollar than about the well being of their employees. I even had one of my customer service managers joke around to me about sex, EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL of someone in a managerial position. Most of them talked about other employees behind their backs saying really negative and uncalled for things. The Merrimon Ingles also doesn't have hand held scanners at the registers or conveyor belts, so cashiers have to physically lift everything out of the carts including heavy bags of dog food, huge 25 pound boxes of cat litter, and large packs of bottled water. I now have a permanent back problem and had to seek medical help from working there so long and doing this every day consistently. I could go on and on about the reasons why people should seek employment elsewhere. INGLES IS A HORRIBLE HELL HOLE please do not choose to work there.
