Cons
Micromanaging is in full swing; the good ole boy mentality is the foundation. If you are one the the guys that has been around for awhile, you have all the support and pay increases you want. If you are a new hire they nit pick everything you do even if they have no knowledge in the area you are working in. Poor benefits, below average pay, regardless of what they post in their job adds. Dispatchers\CSR make more than most engineers and have no technical background or education which causes you to step into customer issues blindly or possibly out of your scope of expertise. No benefit for trying improve your worth by getting certifications or degrees in different areas; some people haven’t had reviews or pay raises in 5 years or more. Engineers are tasked with scoping out jobs for sales representatives who get commission on your work. Strong disconnect from owners and engineers. Bottom line; they try to get as much as they can from you for as little as they can pay you.
