Pros
I worked at Informa for nearly 4 years. Nice people, nice office (240 Blackfriars) in a good location. Close to amenities. My team was welcoming and fairly close knit, good opportunities to work with other team members and get to know people. I had very knowledgeable line managers and a brand director who was willing to take time out to discuss issues and ideas. There were good opportunities to grow and move into different areas. Had a good response to Covid, switched staff to homeworking.
Cons
I was an employee for a company that was purchased by Informa. Informa's approach to "integrating" my former company was very forced (bull in a china shop comes to mind). Upper management and CEO talked a lot about the future of Informa with regards to flexible hours, homeworking continuing after Covid etc. but I doubt this will be the case. Management have a tendency to send mass emails to make themselves look good without actively addressing employee concerns. Lots of really good people have left the company over the last year and a half, the office felt less friendly. People don't talk much outside of their own teams. Pay is low (if you work in the lower ranks and aren't in sales). Decent pay rises are practically non-existent.
