Pros

Decent starting salary A lot to learn, how to do and how not to do things (mostly how not to)

Cons

Bad Career growth, which is based solely on your CTO "impression" of your own work, which undermines your team leader/division owner influence. CTO can not have a good overview of all 1000 employees. On the other hand, both PO and TL are unable to do anything at for benefits of its team. Very bad raises, even if starting salary is good, once employee passes junior threshold, much greater salaries are to be found in other companies. A lot of junior developers, which results in development chaos. By chaos, I mean 9th circle of Dante's inferno. SCRUM with sprints with where whole scope can change, random calls and emails with 100 persons in cc totally unrelated to your field in any way, two real time communication channels. Try to imagine how good is that in firm with 1000+ employees... Incompetent leaders, which for some unknown reasons hold the power to execute some very, very questionable decisions. Sometimes those decisions are not even questionable, but plain stupid. Even when provided with sense and argument, their ego is still usually too big to step back, so they keep pushing their idea until it falls apart. The comment above brings us to another problem, there is no chain of responsibility when something goes wrong and blame is usually to be directed at other teams, developers or "evil technology that could not handle great idea." Nepotism in company, as some employees are not penalized for the same actions as others are, they are immune to any form or critics and have full authority over most of employees even though they are technically incompetent. One disclaimer, I am not saying that everyone has to be technically competent as a developer to be product owner or manager, but some basic understanding is needed. Furthermore same those leaders are pure careerists with no people skills at all, what begs question how are they fit to be in charge at all? (answer, they are not) Regarding work/life balance, there is 8h work shift, but you cannot get paid for working after hours. Everyone will say that it is not expected from employee to work after hours, but at the same time culture is built in such a way that it is basically expected from you, also sometimes you have to work more if some problem occurs. No one will acknowledge or pay for it. Culture or values are close to brainwashing and it works excellent for some former colleges who will probably give Infobip 5* on the glassdoor. "Great Infobip", "We are all family", "Programmers with passion", all slogans are made for you to feel like you should give your very best based on some imaginary values, so you don't have to get paid a lot? Infobip is working for profit, I work for salary... Filling up to 3 positions at once, working overtime, which I am not paid for and with very slow growth of salary with no chance for knowledge or career advancement? Sorry, no family or passion will work out that one for me. "You are with us or against us" mentality - If you don't fit in this crazy family values you are against the firm. If you try to speak up, you will build negative a reputation as higher management can not take criticism. If you criticism, you are by default labeled as negative person and your world view must be changed, it definitely ain't problem in Infobip, he is the holly grail of justice and omniscience in IT sector, so it is problem in negative employee. You must always speak positive and only positive, if you have something negative to present it HAS to be followed with 100% valid solution that is instantly applicable, otherwise you are just bragging and you don't bring anything to table, so you are part of a problem, not solution. If you want to try and change something, firs prepare yourself with a degree on Psychology, Social work and Development so you can view, analyze and fix an issues. Don't forget that you must do all your duties at the same time, which might result with some extra working hours, but hey... anything for a family... Also you must first become a good friend with higher manager as no chain of command will propagate your idea anywhere... PS. Degree in economy might also be needed when comes to cost of your idea, but no one ever reached that point so I can not be sure.

Pros

Fast moving, quick decisions, lots of freedom to innovate.

Cons

Ownership is a "friends & family" deal, and most decisions are made based on who knows who rather than business needs.
