Pros
The people at InfoTrends are some of the best in the industry. The analysts are highly competent and have great relationships with customers. It is a great place to be if you like to be current on trends and new products coming out in the industry - there are always interesting projects, research, and discussions going on. It is a small company, so there is access to pretty much every level of management, and it is easy to build relationships with co-workers. Also, the benefits are decent.
Cons
Many new launches are not planned out very far in advance, and each group is responsible for planning their own marketing activities, which can be disjointed. Because the consulting business can be unpredictable, sometimes project loads can be overwhelming. There are also some negatives to the "small business" atmosphere. Unless you are an analyst, there is not much room for upward mobility. It also feels like there is a high turnover rate, especially among the lower level analyst positions.
