Cons
They dont care at all about their property managers. If you dont work in corporate your expendable. They are so quick to fire a manager and hire a new one, even if they knew the manager needed assistance, they are more likely to fire the manager and hire the new manager an assistant vs giving the current manager any help. They change their expectations constantly without voicing it to the employees outside of corporate but will still hold them accountable when expectations arent met. Benefits are terrible with no 401k, etc. the only insurance they offer would have cost half of my salary for the month for a 3 person family. The property I worked on had improved by 24 vacancies to a consistent 100% occupancy rate and a week before I was fired I was told in our team meeting that I was doing awesome, and my Asset Manager actually went through statistics on how even though I had "x" amount out in unpaid rent the property was still soaring over where it was prior to me starting. Corporate is unprofessional to say the least and the HR person is even worse. I offered to leave a list of where stuff was at, what was behind etc. even though I just got fired and HR responded with "have you finished packing your belongings yet" even though we were on a video call and she could obviously see I hadnt even started. I would work until after 8pm most nights (shift ended at 5) and even though they would tell me they didnt wanna see me working that late they would give me impossible deadlines for an extreme amount of work.
