Pros
Four years at Increff gave me something no MBA could: the experience of building systems at real scale, with real stakes, alongside people who genuinely cared about doing it right. The WMS codebase I worked on serves some of India's largest retailers. The pressure is real, but so is the support. I never once felt like I was alone on a hard problem.
The founders are technically sharp and still deeply involved — a code review comment from the CTO is not unusual. That sets a tone that cascades through the whole engineering org. ESOP realisation on my way out was handled smoothly and fairly, and the references I got from leadership opened doors I hadn't even knocked on yet. I'm proud to say Increff shaped the engineer and the person I am today.
Cons
The culture is so good, that it sets high expectation, wherever you go next
