Pros

- Cares for its employees - Tries to be transparent with what is happening in the company - Remote work/Hybrid option available - Lot of opportunities to grow (if you have the right manager) - The company is growing with its expanded portfolio of products over the last few years

Cons

- Recruiters don't do a good job (HR is different, which is great). This is a known across the board and I've lost talent coz the recruiter didn't reach out in time. Same thing happened with people I referred to, and a couple of them are totally against Imprivata coz they feel their time was wasted as the recruiter reached out way to late with a follow up. - Some departments have competitive salaries while some of them don't.

Imprivata was a great company to work for and they really focus on employee experience.

Was laid off during COVID unfortunately.

Pros

New CEO is smart, capable, and doing a good job Benefits were good Catered lunch in the office each Wednesday

Cons

Toxic middle management - yelling, tantrums, and retaliation on top of extreme incompetence. Managers fail to lead and are essentially micromanagers of tasks. They create meaningless work, stress out about it, and fail to validate the business need at any point in the process. When you suggest and deliver something of actual value, you will receive no credit. Honestly this was the worst experience of my entire professional career and I’ve never been so thankful to leave an organization.
