Pros

Immanuel Fontanelle/Newport House used to have a great culture. We used to provide exceptional care in a loving environment.

Cons

Recently, our administrator decided to cut our staffing to unsafe ratios. He doesn’t care to listen to frustrated staff. All he seems to care about is money, not the decline in the quality of care we’re providing. We can’t keep the residents safe. We don’t have time to give baths, help residents eat, get everyone changed, or do half of the things the residents deserve. We work hard for very little pay & now they’re taking away our staff.

Hi there! Thank you so much for taking the time to write your review of your experience with our team at the Newport House. We strive to ensure you feel supported here and can focus on providing excellent healthcare to our residents. To provide context for our approach to staffing, the resident-to-healthcare staff ratio is a priority for Immanuel. In staffing, it is 1 of 7 in the area to have a 5-star rating, according to the CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid) website. For the Newport House specifically, it is a 5-star facility overall. If you want to continue this conversation offline, please feel free to send us an email at hr@immanuel.com.
