Instead, they attempt to motivate consultants to enhance or create new services independently, on their own time. On one hand, this is a good thing - as it recognizes individuals' innovation and effort and allows everyone the opportunity to make a real difference in the business. The "con" is that it may prove to be a slow way to diversify their service offerings and lead to missed opportunities.
