Pros
Due to covid, telework opportunities are available. No guarantee they will remain though. The health insurance is very affordable & good coverage. All federal holidays are paid leave. Will move up a grade or step every year as long as you are minimally successful until you top out.
Cons
Too much for the pay. On the phones all day every day eventhough paper inventory work is injob description. Accountable to be perfect for too much info that is not attainable. Every year they add more & more to the job but haven't evaluated the pay to increase. Just 5 yrs ago a CSR only handled X amount of topics on the phone before transferring to a specialized dept. Now, the amount of topics the CSR handles has tripled, at least.
