We’re proud to run a variety of different programmes and events to support the development of our people and are committed to ensuring that all employees have the skills and knowledge they need to excel in their career. For example, our High Potential Programme is designed to identify and develop IRIS next senior leaders, providing networking opportunities, executive fireside talks, mentoring, and engaging workshops. We have also launched a brand-new leadership development pathway for all levels of managers and those looking to get into management. We’re also proud to have created a career framework which contains all job titles in IRIS, where they sit within the organisation and where they can progress. In the last 10 months, we’re delighted to that 80 IRISians have received a promotion, changed role, and become permanent from fixed term contacts or secondments. We’re really proud to use Peakon, our online engagement survey, to hear from our employees and action their feedback. The anonymous feedback provided by employees is visible to their manager, the head of the department and the HR team, meaning that it can be responded to and actioned immediately.
