We are very proud to have been officially recognised as a Great Place to Work for the second year running and were also delighted to have been named as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™, Best Workplaces™ for Wellbeing, and Best Workplaces™ for Women. We work hard across IRIS to provide a supportive and caring environment, where everyone can flourish. We are sorry to hear that this was not your experience. We have developed our ‘Managing with IMPACT’ training programme to give all managers the skills they need to motivate, develop, and inspire their teams. We are delighted that so far, we have supported 74 managers with ongoing support, training in communication, emotional intelligence, and HR coaching, as well as signposting wellbeing tools to ensure that their employees are performing at their best.
In addition, employee feedback is very important to us. We use our monthly employee engagement survey, Peakon, across the business for staff to send immediate feedback to managers and senior leaders, so that they can act on ideas and comments quickly. Since its launch, we are delighted that employees have shared more than 50,000 comments and managers have posted over 41,000 interactions, responses, and follow-up questions. We also are proud to have 35 Employee Voice Ambassadors (EVAs) across several departments, with 19 ambassadors in Operations. These ambassadors gather our teams’ collective voices and feedback to the departments senior leaders and Executive member to implement positive change and further improve engagement
We are currently in a recruitment drive to welcome fantastic new employees into the IRIS family, who can delight our customers and evolve IRIS into the best it can be. We are also very proud of our extensive track record of growing via acquiring fantastic organisations with great people who enable us to provide a greater range of products to our customer base.
