Pros

If you have very low self esteem and enjoy slavery IQVIA Gurgaon is your best destination

Cons

The purpose of setting up office in India was to create a slave society for IQVIA consulting firms across the world so that any staffing issues can be resolved at a very low cost. IQVIA Gurgaon is an outsourced office which rents its employees to consulting unit on an hourly basis to do clerical jobs. You will not be assigned to any specific projects, just a random tasks on a very tight timeline (you will not have prior knowledge about the project). The consulting wing people will make you feel like a micro organism and will seek to exploit you as much as possible in exchange for hourly rates (~20$ per hour). The senior management in India are just security guards who act as dictators to enforce the stakeholders crazy workload is completed and ensure the employee is so overworked that they commit suicide. Senior management will not help you with any technical aspects of the job, they are just there to punish you for any mistake. Don't trust the fake reviews you see here, the work culture is more toxic than cobra snake venom. Undoubtedly, IMHO the worst company in India to work for. If you don't trust me please feel free to check out. More than 50% of the new hires resign within 1 year and the experience you gather will not help you in your career.

Pros

Resources and access to good studies to be successful in research, immediate PTO benefits, 401k match.

Cons

Growth opportunities/compensation - besides the annual merit raises of <3 percent I haven’t gotten a raise in 5 years.

Pros

The layoffs were handled quietly and unexpectedly, even though there were some early signs. They didn’t share who else was affected, but it was clearly more than just me.

Cons

They’re doing layoffs in phases, and my position was part of the most recent round.
