- Some things that other banks do in months, for ING it takes years
- If you are ambitious (especially young!) stay clear of ING (unless you love bureaucracy, processes and politics)
- Reorganization after reorganization without anyone ever understanding why so many and frequent changes
- Like in many organizations, your wellbeing here depends 70% on your manager and 30% on your work. As said above, ING promotes managers not based on merit but connections and visibility. In my case i had a wonderful manager and person who left and I was assigned to one who has no clue about the work i do and does not care to understand. This makes my life in the company way harder than it has to be and because their line of reporting is the same, i don't know who can I talk to..
