Pros
Great amount of freedom to develop new skillsets if that's your thing. Not a terrible place to work if you have literally no other experience. You can find good experience if you are 100% self driven and force your way into learning opportunities.
Cons
Compensation is extremely poor compared to both industry standard levels and similar CoL areas. Management lacks understanding of what underlings actually do and rely on hidden performance metrics. Technical stagnation is a real career risk. Poor long-term business outlook means that most employees are generally lethargic and uninspired.
