Pros

People that work there are friendly yet driven and all have unique backgrounds. Rental office has a nice kitchen and coffee machine.

Cons

Company is newly based in Denver and is renting office space which makes what should be a very collaborative environment difficult. Offices are cramped and spread all over the 11th floor along with many other companies. The folks that started the company have great backgrounds but are all life long friends. Breaking into that circle for higher level opportunities is next to impossible. Pace is unpredictable going from nothing to do one minute to a break neck pace the next. Upper management has talent but no ability to train and develop. Leadership will talk about the growth that is coming but that covers up the real issue that revenues are very weak. Essentially the well being of this company depends upon door to door sales teams across the country producing. When they don't over-perform funds are tight. Pay is less than market for a start-up and the benefits are laughable especially if you choose to put more than yourself on the plan. Benefits are pretty close to COBRA costs for a family. Take a position here if you are desperate but do not expect loyalty from them and jump quickly if something better pops up.

Pros

I started working in marketing almost 10 years ago, working at three different marketing companies, including IMMERGE. One thing I have noticed that really sets IMMERGE apart is the way they present marketing solutions to clients. Because marketing is often up for interpretation, clients really appreciate having things broken down for them, which I think the managers here are great at. These skills allow us to help our clients fully understand the value and potential success of our marketing solutions, and I think it’s great that IMMERGE invests so much time in this area.

Cons

In an ideal world, companies would only have to work with people and companies that share their same values and are easy to work with. But in the real world, we often end up having to work with people that we know are going to be counterproductive for our clients, which requires a high level of patience. Being honest with clients about what may hurt their business, especially if they don’t agree, is essential, though often difficult.
