Pros

Nothing that other companies cannot offer as well

Cons

- HR is totally non-existent, they have ZERO power and are scared to death to lose their jobs as well (not a bad idea). They have no clue about what "Talent management" means. - The group is ludicrously disorganized, fragmented, without common vision and global accountability in terms of technology solutions and market approach. This has been going on for years now, with no sign to get any better any time soon - Every internal reorganization is sistematically leading to the worse, being carried out by totally inadequate "managers" - People (including managers, to be honest) are laid-off every other day, but nobody knows why and - more importantly - they are not getting replaced (or the "replacements" are significantly worse) - New "managers" are not jus incompetent, but they also refuse responsibilities and are totally unhelpful, as they know full well that it's just a matter of time and it will be their turn to be booted out - Internal communication is so bad that I have no words to really describe it. You won't believe it. - The bleeding of good people is now unstoppable, but nobody seem to care about (as long as they save money, of course...) - IGT stock price fell 50% in just 6 months, should I say more? Is that maybe because they have 7,5B US$ of debt (in a dying industry) and they are so poorly managed ?

Pros

Great department. A family atmosphere. Good benefits.

Cons

The new transition has gutted the company. Do more with less. Management has no say. The execs that have no knowledge make employment decisions. Seniority or job knowledge doesn’t matter to the people in the ivory tower.Do more with less. No real raises, no chance for advancement.
