Pros
IFF is a responsible social research employer who wants its staff to feel happy and fulfilled in their work. The atmosphere is friendly and there are progression opportunities. The primary stakeholders are open to new ideas and willing to change. The company prides itself on being an informed, human voice to its central government and related clients. Casual workers can apply for more permanent roles.
Cons
Expect to take on a lot of work and training very quickly. IFF also employs a large bank of remote, casual interviewing staff. For these roles, hours are not guaranteed and you will need to supply your own equipment. This is often cold calling but for genuine government research. If you want flexibility and are not relying on this as a sole income, you can earn reasonably well (including bonuses on most projects). Note: ratings below are for permanent staff.
