Pros
Good for retirement if you already know the ins and outs, have a good connection with the who's who of the company. One's future will be bright if you know how to put up a song and dance.
Cons
- Avalanche of internal communications flooding emails to get employees on board with their various initiatives but senior management doesn't walk the talk. - Poor talent retention. - Trying to do too many things at once because everyone wants to be seen, be heard - which brings down the collaborative spirit and defeats the purpose of having centers of excellence where one should be applying their skillsets based on core competencies and job remit.
