      Pros

      Opportunity to use a large range of my skills and develop new ones. Very flexible with remote working and schedule. Supportive through my son's year-long Covid hospitalization and passing, my subsequent divorce and moving for second marriage.

      Cons

      They prefer to make small safe incremental improvements rather than potentially much more valuable redesigns from the ground up.
