Pros

Very good people, trying to do great work.

Cons

Investis is PE owned, and no matter what they say, quick profit and an exit is paramount. The CEO has been heard screaming profanities at employees on numerous occasions (throughout the entire office). Strategy and direction shift from quarter to quarter. Just did another round of layoffs. Entrenched ways of doing things and lack of integration with London, India, and US offices is a nightmare. Not a good environment to work at all.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your perspective noting you're a former senior manager at the business. It's important for readers to fully understand where we are as a business and the evolution that you may not have been comfortable with. We did recently have a layoff in the USA, which impacted our Phoenix team, including some (senior) department leaders. This reduction was conducted for a few reasons first and foremost because the company staffed excessively during the pandemic time and was not level set when a good bit of business leveled off in the year or so following. Unfortunately, we were forced to make this difficult decision and with no intention to have to do so again. More importantly, as the business evolves into a more broad content agency, we needed to realign and remove certain functions and departments to ensure that all fits into the new structure for future success - a much more creative rooted agency that provides deeper value and targeted solutions to clients. As has been announced internally, while we never want to have to downsize anywhere, we did this action while still heavily investing in creative talent, performance marketing strategy/talent/direction and technology products and talent. One of the main points has been a deep integration with UK/India/USA, that pulls away some of the autonomy you may have felt in the past and which drives some or all of your perspective. Change is never easy; however, we are transparent with our internal movements and hear that the majority of staff are on-board and excited with our growth. We're sad to hear you have a negative perspective, which may be driven by being impacted by our recent action; however, we respect your perspectives as your own. Thank you again.

Pros

IDX gives you room to actually do your job. The leadership team trusts experienced people to think, challenge ideas, and make decisions instead of micromanaging. Collaboration across teams is real, not just something talked about in meetings. Smart people, solid process, and a genuine push to adapt as marketing and AI continue to evolve. If you care about outcomes and not just optics, this is a good place to work. There’s also a healthy respect for work life balance, especially compared to many agencies. Expectations are clear, communication is direct, and performance is measured on impact rather than hours logged.

Cons

Like most growing organizations, things can move fast and priorities can shift. That can be uncomfortable if you need everything perfectly defined before moving forward. Some processes are still evolving, which is the tradeoff for not being overly rigid.

Pros

The culture here is a standout. People are genuinely collaborative, helpful, and respectful of each other’s time. As a Project Manager in a performance marketing environment, I’ve appreciated how cross-functional teams partner to solve problems quickly and keep work moving. Compensation and benefits are competitive, and there’s a healthy emphasis on work-life balance, which makes it easier to do great work without burning out.

Cons

There is a documented 30-day ramp for new hires, which is helpful, but the learning curve can still be steep depending on the role/team. You need to be a strong self-starter to consistently hit that timeline, and some processes are learned through experience rather than through fully standardized, role-specific training.
