Pros
Great benefits like 6 weeks of paid parental leave, tuition reimbursement, wellness credit, 401k matching, a Defined Contribution Plan (essentially free retirement money at no cost to the employee), paid holidays and time off and pay that is above average for the area and career field. Feel valued as an employee. Each business unit is decentralized from corporate headquarters so we're pretty autonomous for the most part but have the "safety net" of a corporate company. When employees say "IDEX" they're likely only talking about their individual business unit which will vary in practices, policies, pay, and culture. My business unit is a strong leader of IDEX with great leadership, respect for employees, and embodies a business that does more than provide a pay check for employees. There are several different business units that fall under IDEX that provide growth opportunities and ability to live in other parts of the country while still being an IDEX employee.
Cons
Despite being decentralized from corporate, still have the repercussions if IDEX, or our business segment, as a whole is not doing so well (like hiring freezes, etc).
