Pros

The products are good quality, but the overall line is old and not being updated.

Cons

IDEC USA is a sales arm for IDEC Japan. The focus is to make products for the Japanese market and attempt to sell them to US customers. The available products are a hodgepodge of switches, automation, safety, etc., but there are no complete line of anything making it hard to identify a customer base. Management is an assortment of family and long time Managers that are only interested in profit at the end of the day. Availability is a problem, understanding the market is a problem, and getting the tools you need to do your job is a problem. If you are getting ready to retire and you just want a few more years, IDEC is good, if you are young and aggressive, this is not the place to be.

Pros

Nothing, just long hours and power points

Cons

It's concerning to observe that the new management lacks basic qualifications, such as degrees. It seems that long-time employees who are loyal to management are the ones getting promoted, while genuine talent is overlooked. There have been multiple HR complaints, leading to frequent replacements within the HR department, which raises questions about stability and employee support. Technology seems to be absent, with a focus primarily on acquiring French companies, rather than innovating or improving current operations. Under the current CEOs son the US leadership has been laying off employees at an alarming rate, contributing to a troubling work environment and extremely low wages. They sold operations in Sunnyvale and appear to be counting on San Diego to become the next hub for basic relay and APEM low performing products , but there's little sign of effective execution. As for the mobility solutions sector? It's currently a joke, lacking any substantial traction.
