Pros
Flat hierarchy, dynamic and international environment, nice location, good experience to learn how to trick strangers into buying conference tickets.
Cons
Hard to describe the competitive and negative environment at IBC. The office is composed by around 10 people, all young, very international. The working hours are supposed to be 9-6, but it is all a matter of appearance. Sticking around the office after 6 is to show that you like hanging out with them. Free drinks from 4pm onwards. Even better, on Fridays at 4pm everyone expect the owner starts cleaning up the office, and yes including the toilets. Chances of getting hired only if there is space in the office. Let's not forget the owner's sad jokes in favor of Israel and employees being blocked on Facebook for racist comments against black people. Don't you dare asking the same thing twice! Expect the owner to publicly say that your work sucks despite refusing to give you any instruction beforehand. Tasks basically include: crafting, running errands, bringing coffee to clients, some social media, international calls, walking the owner's dog.
