Pros
The wider team are really welcoming and there are really nice people.
Cons
A lot of money is invested into the image and portraying this across social media to lure in young graduates which the company is essentially built on. The images are very outdated as most of the staff have left and they struggle to hire or retain senior staff. The grads are not taught anything but to aimlessly dial and cold call for weeks and focus on pointless phone time. The company focuses solely on KPI’s and any failure or struggle to achieve this is dealt with a management style consisting of passive aggressiveness and making you feel worthless. You have no work life balance, no work from home flexibility and long hours. Which compared to most companies that have shifted with the pandemic feels outdated. Employees are not ‘trusted’ to be able to manage themselves and work remotely. The staff are miserable and the office atmosphere reflects this. There is no room for an opinion that does not align with Ricky and the upper management are essentially paid to be his yes men. A large part of these issues stem from Ricky as he doesn’t listen to the staff, creates an atmosphere in the office and is completely fake like image that he meticulously portrays on social media. He focuses on rewarding his friends in upper management with pointless promotions whilst completely disregarding the staff that uphold the company. If you leave be prepared for a cold shoulder from Ricky. The lack of professionalism that goes hand in hand with their outdated recruitment practices.
