Management tends to set unrealistic expectations. Work/Life Balance is an illusion, as weekends and holidays are still going to involve work of some fashion. Safety is talked about, but is not fully practiced if it interferes with production. Money isn’t spent on necessary infrastructure upgrades, as key projects don’t always get funding. Communication between admin and production folks isn’t that good, resulting in mixed messages in all aspects of plant operation.
