      Presenting to stakeholders and partners, about legislative policies and their impact on hunger and poverty in our communities. Inspiring, enlightening and rewarding.

      Cons

      I was terminated without warning (and despite stellar reviews from external partners) the day after documenting (via email) to administration that they should treat employees with dignity. High turnover- 10 positions/yr.

      Staff is very friendly and helpful, supervisor's are hands on.

      Cons

      Sometimes it seems like busy work is annoying, and Executive Director is somewhat dictatorial.

      Great place to trauma bond with co-workers

      Cons

      Lack of diverse leaders and those that join the team leave within 2 years. The pillars touted in the community are nowhere to be found within the building. What was once known as a leader in advocacy in the community no longer has a voice or a direction.
