Pros
I have been writing for How-To Geek for almost a year now, and there's very little to complain about here. The editors and management usually good about communicating with the team, and any questions I've sent over messages were usually answered within a few hours. The rest of the staff has been great to work with, and they seem to genuinely care about their work. I've had issues while working remote positions at other companies—especially with communication from higher-ups—but I haven't had any of those problems while writing for HTG.
Cons
As with any remote position, expect to be working with staff members from different time zones and sometimes waiting hours for people to read their messages. For the most part, the editors try to answer questions on time but just be aware that you'll rarely get an immediate response to your emails. Besides that, I haven't encountered any severe problems while working for the site.
