Throughout the last couple of years, I have seen Honor bring in management that has done the absolute worse for the organization. Along with not having the proper skills to people manage, most “managers” are overworked and have limited availability to truly support their direct reports. The culture has become hierarchical and focused on building a status within the organization, compared to actually building an inclusive and cohesive workplace.
Honor has built an environment that lacks transparency and where people feel extremely undervalued and overworked. On top of that, there have been continuous layoffs across multiple departments so that leaves employees worried about their job security. They let go of employees that have been with the company for years and show no type of loyalty for those that have worked endless hours to help grow the organization. Instead of investing in the growth and development of their employees, they continue to over-hire for useless roles and do not promote within. The HR department does not warrant approachability and tends to cater to and protect upper management, instead of doing what’s best for hard working employees.
