Pros

The work and many co-workers. Very nice facility and cafeteria. 401K and pay was reasonable, but 401K used to be better (not paid once a year.) Be careful of all the reviews here, many are from outside the US where labor laws are different.

Cons

Open space (no assigned seats) work environment was too noisy. No vacation (unlimited vacation means discretionary and means if you leave or are fired they do not have to pay you, there are no minimums.) Health benefits are awful, required to give health data and even with all of that, the health benefits are worse than most companies. No WFH without approval from management and HR. Was constantly asked to work OT even when not necessary. Awful rating 9 block system, used to target employees they want to get rid of or to not pay a wage increase. Very poor behaviors, (very subjective) and have no meaning....have a passion for winning, be courageous etc - how do you measure this? Behaviors are all the same, be aggressive, and people's opinions do not matter i.e. too aggressive is not seen as an issue. Everything is flowed down for the individual contributors to do.

Pros

Dedicated professionals to allocate responsibilities; clear learning objectives; opportunities to assist engineers in the field.

Cons

Upper-tier management is a bit disorganized. Nobody seems to know what was promised in our contracts. Our scope is a bit vague sometimes.

Pros

Interesting product offerings, learning both global and domestic industry, ability to climb the ladder and have career growth if you work hard. Great people within the business.

Cons

Honeywell corporate culture is very negative. They don't really care about employees, and many executive level managers will ask for things that require late night and weekend work. There is very little work life balance, and no cross training so you still may be contacted or expected to pitch in while you are on vacation.
