Pros
My site at least is more than willing to work with you and help those who work hard move forward. I have made great strides my status here by working hard and showing progress. They try hard to promote within and allow us to try new things.
Cons
Corporate sometimes blocks or limits things on the site level. This makes it difficult to move around, get raises, or progress up the ranks. With these across the room blocks it can stifle growth and opportunity.
