Pros
If there are any, nobody told me
Cons
Should’ve been a sign when they were desperate to hire but I figured maybe it was just cause of all the experience I had in the position. Nope, the department is a constant revolving door of people coming and going. The ancient computer system is the most poorly designed mess I’ve ever seen. It’s probably as old as the company itself. Simple tasks that used to take 20 seconds at my last job now took 10 minutes because “thats how we do things” They lie about the job description, treat their employees like garbage, and then are confused when nobody wants to work for them. and you better hope you don’t get sick or have a death in the family. It’s crazy a company like this is still in business considering they take half of their contractors income just for booking the job. So thankful I was able to find a real job somewhere else that values my skills and experience and are paying me literally double what HomeGuard was. And they don’t time your bathroom breaks (What the hell?!)
