Pros

-Employees are nice -10% discount at all TJX companies

Cons

-Management is a disaster. No communication between managers. -Can't seem to schedule you within your availability. I'm in school, and even with that I had a very open schedule, and so far I've been scheduled 2 back to back days that are outside of my availability. When I called my store to sort it out, I was yelled at by a manager for not being able to work -Some employees were trained. I was not, and was thrown onto the register my first day and the store was extremely busy. Keep in mind I was not trained on anything and had to learn as I go, which resulted in some upset customers.

it is a job if you desperately need one

Cons

management does not keep promises (e.g. I was promised $2 higher pay upon accepting the position and later was told it wasn't feasible anymore once starting. I was also promised a specific day off then last minute had it revoked because they decided to make it a mandatory day). management does not listen to or care about its employees, very unprofessional. store managers don't want to do anything to help, they just sit in the office. management let other employees slack off and do nothing and expected others to compensate for their lack of effort general manager was horribly rude and misogynistic. he threw a box at someone while visiting.
