Pros
-Wonderful friendships made within an international community -Great opportunities for travel to new destinations -Tradition and legacy of the line -My particular job gave me great public speaking skills on stage and via broadcast, working with a variety of audio-visual equipment
Cons
-Too many managers/higher ups/officers for one person to report to and keep straight! -Really excellent people fall through the cracks and end up just dealing with it, while higher ups with poor leadership skills (such as anger problems) are allowed to continue working with large staffs -Living in close quarters for long periods of time can create unreasonable situations and moods -I honestly don't think some people really cared about safety and what it truly meant, while others were worked to the bone and then responsible for carrying out safety procedures and should be honored for their dedication, even during sleep deprivation. -Demonstrated race and language challenges, often allowed to remain negative, in secret, very passive aggressive towards this issue. But "that's just the way things are..."
