Pros
The peer-level colleagues are resilient and supportive. You get to work alongside some highly enduring individuals, particularly within the ground-level execution teams, which helps you navigate the daily workload.
Cons
What initially appears to be a dynamic workplace quickly reveals its cracks. Holiday Tribe is steered by a hysterical and tyrannical leadership team—essentially mid-aged settlers pretending to be industry innovators. While they preach a tight-knit "family" culture, the reality is an exclusionary inner circle characterized by transactional, hostile relationships. The moment operational chips fall, leadership completely shrugs off accountability and masterfully throws their own people under the bus.
The operational disparity on the floor is striking. The operations team is deeply disgruntled, overworked, and carrying the heaviest burden, while other departments sit mere feet away, seemingly oblivious to the daily fires. If you are looking for a serious, committed organization with core values and actual drive, look elsewhere. Not recommended.
