Pros
I enjoying working with the Hokodo team!
Cons
Hokodo, on face value, appears to be an excellent workplace: stable, some might say unbreakable (as we are constantly reminded). However, we have recently experienced another round of redundancies, which has led to the departure of some highly senior people. These individuals have significantly contributed to team building and the company's growth. Their departures were abrupt, giving the impression that everything was swiftly swept under the carpet. This occurred following our annual lavish offsite in Lithuania, which is baffling. If there's a need for cost-cutting, why did we proceed with such an expensive event? Cancelling it could have potentially saved two people from being let go. Meanwhile, we see other team members announcing on LinkedIn about their expanded roles and taking on new responsibilities, while those who have been let go are still processing the news. This situation, coupled with another rebranding or change of direction for the sales team, creates a rather unsettling atmosphere. It's a time of uncertainty and mixed signals, making it challenging for everyone involved.
