Pros

Working remotely Decent insurance I believe the CEO does care about his employees but needs to be more receptive and more approachable. Quarterly meetings to see the team

Cons

This without a doubt one of the worst companies I have ever worked for that has terrible leadership. The President of the organization makes no attempt to get to know his new employees while many of us don't sit in Austin. He does have monthly check ins with tenured employees to see how things are going. Not only invest in tenured employees but also new hires as well. The leadership is nothing but a gossip train while my direct manager consistently stayed on the phone gossiping with fellow employees. It is a fight to get any tools needed in order to succeed in any role with this company. While many of the other reviews have stated the continued/new business comes from the CEO and his connections with the YPO organization. If you are truly looking to grow the organization across the country you can't just invest in people you have invest in the brand. Commission structure is terrible I felt very fooled by this company and believed in them.

Pros

Working under the leadership at HireBetter was enlightening. Even after leaving the company, I still share with others great examples of their leadership. I praise their authenticity, their drive to be - and help everyone else be - the best they can, and their willingness to listen to everyone on the team, regardless of seniority. Especially for a fully remote team, I found them to have an excellent culture, and truly practice what they preach: full transparency, working with grit and tenacity, having good team cohesiveness, and always working in true partnership with our clients. I found them to have fair wages for employees and to truly deliver the service as advertised to our customers. I saw the leadership team work through tough times and make tough decisions together, and I will always think very highly of them because of it.

Cons

As with any remote, salaried position, you can easily allow yourself to overwork. The leadership team does not encourage it though you do have to be self-aware and step away from helping that client on the weekends in order to have balance. The industry is ever-changing! If you need consistency and change makes you nervous, this would be a tough place to work.

Pros

Pay was good, benefits good.

Cons

They let go of a whole department of recruiters and sourcers just to rehire them and outsource for lower cost.
