- Have been working here for 9.8 years.
- HCCI has always been the worse when compared to any small product based companies in the rewards (Hikes, awards, perks, etc..). Please don't come expecting something on par with any of the known product based companies.
- I have seen 2 big teams getting laid off (containing 50 to 80 Indians) in my entire career in HCCI. So job security is a myth even at HCCI unlike what is said in so many reviews. Please don't believe in the recruitment teams' words in this regard as they have always been hiding these facts from the new hires. And now they have even launched a new page on glassdoor to escape from previous negative reviews.
- No additional support (in terms of a new matching role or severance) has been given to any long term employee who is part of the laid off teams. So don't expect the company's loyalty in return to your loyalty to this company.
- There will be a variable pay component in your Salary structure which will be nullified without any prior intimation. The rules in the HR docs will say otherwise, but trust me, HCCI will follow "Rules are meant to be broken" slogan in this case and HRs will never interfere.
- I have seen people with top performance being given decrement of around 10% also in this company ( in a specific scenarios like reduction of head count). And all this happened even when HR is part of this negotiation process. So HR is for Humans who are at higher management level but not for Humans who are at employee level.
- One of the teams that got laid off has worked their A's off since 2022 but never got to enjoy the fruits of their hardwork. So please don't expect work life balance to present in every team.
