Extra vacation week, at christmas week. They listen to opinions and they really try to improve. They have potencial to be better. Good environment. Flexible hours. Top medical insurance. Good job is you are not apassionated about software. I mean, if you just see it as another job. It is a good company if you compare it with any job.
Cons
Communication problems. Lack of common sense because they are too busy with many decisions. Bad staffing decisions, we are like chess pieces. Sometimes I feel like they need to consider both technical skills and common sense. Not everyone cares about software quality, for that reason you don´t learn unless you are lucky enough to be with someone who cares and wants to teach you. The ones that care are great people to work with. So, it depends on the project you are assigned to. Old technologies. Each day there are new technologies and they are a few steps behind. This usually happens in software factories. Besides, they take projects that have old technologies, and i understand that, it is a business, but for that reason many employees leave the company.
